Description

This is our pre-owned Agilent GC/MS Complete System, 6890-5973 including Combi PAL Autosampler and the Data Acquisition System, computer including Chemstation with the analysis method and the control software. The system is completely refurbished and is in great working condition, and is part of our new arrival from a top edge cannabinoid research facility. The system was mainly used to test for pesticides, terpenes, and residual solvents such as, Fipronil, Chlorpyrifos, Diazinone, (Etho)prophos, Kresoxim Methyl, Methyl Parathion, MGK, Paclobutrazol, Permethrine, Piperonyl Butoxide, Propoxur, Phosmet and Bifenthrin

The system includes the following components:

Agilent 5973N Inert Mass Selective Detector (MSD)
- Mass range of 1.6-800 amu
- Turbo Pump
- Control panel for locally monitoring and operating the MSD
- Single quadrupole with an electron impact source for reliable ionization
Chemstation MSD and is loaded with methods, specifically designed for cannabis samples
Diffusion pump included is an Edwards 1.5 vacuum pump
Combi PAL autosampler
- Automated changing of sampling style within a single sequence; as an example
- Perform automated sample preparation involving dilutions using the syringe tool, followed by an SPME extraction

The Agilent 6890N / 5973 inert does not require extensive knowledge of mass spectrometry to work with; experience with a gas chromatograph is sufficient. The system is controlled by the Chemical Station on the basis of a modern computer operating on Windows. The high performance of the Chemical Station allows the addition of one GC / MS or two gas chromatographs. The chromatograph and mass spectrometer are controlled via the LAN interface, so the Chemical Station can be located at any distance from the instrument itself. The standard set includes automatic setup programs, data collection and processing programs, including a library search for mass spectra (2 different search algorithms – Agilent PBM and NIST) and printouts of reports in various formats.
