The Perkin Elmer Caliper LabChip XT fractionation system performs fast, automated nucleic acid fractionation accurately and reproducibly. A sequencing-compatible buffer delivers the tightly sized resulting sample.

The XTe improves laboratory efficiency and provides sizing that is difficult to obtain using manual methods. Data is displayed digitally, and non-fractionated samples can be recollected and used at another time. With added features for sample tracking and data analysis. The quantitation determines each sample’s total input concentration. Smear analysis automatically calculates the estimated concentration of the extraction region.

Sample names can be imported and data can be automatically exported for LIMs compatibility. The LabChip XT assays are based on traditional gel electrophoresis principles that have been transferred to a chip format.
