Description

This our pre-owned Agilent 1200 High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) system is a state-of-the-art chromatographic instrument that is widely used in analytical laboratories for a wide range of applications. The system consists of several modules, including the Agilent G1311A Quaternary pump, G1316A column thermostat compartment, G1314B variable wavelength detector, degasser, tray and G4218A Evaporative Light Scattering (ELS) detector. The computer including the software is included and is configured with the system. All the cables are included.

1. Agilent G1311A Quaternary pump: The G1311A Quaternary pump is a versatile and high-performance pump that is capable of delivering precise and consistent flow rates in a wide range of applications. It features a four-solvent selection valve, which allows for the use of up to four solvents in a single run, making it ideal for complex chromatographic methods. The pump can operate at flow rates ranging from 0.001 to 10 mL/min, with a pressure range of up to 400 bar, making it suitable for both analytical and preparative scale separations. It also includes a built-in vacuum degasser, which removes dissolved gases from the mobile phase to prevent bubble formation and ensure stable baselines.

Agilent G1316A column thermostat compartment: The G1316A column thermostat compartment is designed to maintain a constant temperature for the HPLC column, which is critical for reproducible chromatographic results. It has a temperature range of 10 to 80°C, with a stability of ±0.1°C, ensuring precise temperature control. The compartment can accommodate up to two columns and features a fanless design for quiet and efficient operation. It uses a nebulization process to generate fine droplets of the eluent, which then evaporate, leaving behind dry particles that scatter light. The scattered light is detected and converted into a signal, which is proportional to the concentration of the analyte. The detector has a wide linear dynamic range and is capable of detecting analytes at low nanogram levels. It is ideal for the detection of compounds such as lipids, carbohydrates, polymers, and peptides.
